VOLUME 15 #4 Winter 2000

News in brief
Legislative weekend set for March

Council 2’s popular annual Legislative Weekend will be held in Olympia from March 8 to 10, 2001.
Members attending the weekend will stay at the Westcoast Olympia Hotel (formerly Cavanaughs at Capitol Lake).
During the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with state representatives and to tour the Capitol building.

Convention will set agenda for year

Council 2’s biennial convention will be held at Wenatchee from June 1 to 3 next year. Mark your calendars now and make arrangements to be there.
The convention is the major event on the union’s 2001 calendar and is an important venue to help plan the next two years of Council 2’s activities, to learn about how the union operates, to meet fellow union members from around the state, and to discuss issues that are important to you.
