A DISPUTE has arisen over an election in which 25 employees of Skagit County Youth and Family Services in Mount Vernon voted on joining Council 2. The employees provide support for the Juvenile Probation Department.

Skagit County management challenged six of the 21 ballots that were cast. No date has yet been set for a hearing to determine the validity of the election.
