WHEN NEARLY 100 Council 2 local presidents and their guests met for their annual get-together in late October, they enjoyed and learned from presentations by Council 2’s
General Counsel Audrey Eide, who spoke on legal issues in your local union, Deputy Director Pat Thompson, who outlined Initiative 1033 (see report alongside), and afscme International’s Debra Kidney who spoke on how to run your local union.
The presidents also spoke highly of the venue, Campbell’s Resort in Chelan, and Council 2 is planning to hold next year’s conference at the same place.
