Over the past 11 years, Council 2 has given over $718,000 in scholarships. The 2017 golf tournament raised over $31,000 for our scholarship program.

The Washington State Council of County & City Employees offers the following scholarships, which are awarded yearly. Five awards are for Union members and 25 are awarded to dependents of Union members:


Dependent Scholarship Information and Application

  • One $5,000 yearly four-year award ($20,000 total) to a child who is a dependent or under legal guardianship of a local union member in good standing of the WSCCCE;
 
  • Six $5,000 scholarship awards to children who are a dependent or under legal guardianship of a local union member in good standing of the WSCCCE;
     
  • Six $2,000 scholarship awards to children who are a dependent or under legal guardianship of a local union member in good standing of the WSCCCE; and
     
  • An additional sixteen $2,000 awards to children who are a dependent or under legal guardianship of a local union member in good standing of the WSCCCE. These represent the funds raised at the Council 2 Annual Golf Tournament! 


This application is for high school seniors & college undergraduates who are dependents of, or under the legal guardianship of, a Washington State Council of County & City Employees member or a non-association member in good standing. 

The application must be completed and postmarked and the official transcript postmarked NO LATER THAN MARCH 15th. 
 

Union Member Scholarship Information and Application

  • Five $1,000 continuing education awards to members in good standing of a local affiliated with the WSCCCE.


This is a continuing education scholarship application for union members. 

The application must be postmarked NO LATER THAN MARCH 15th.
